Choosing a Scent for Every Room in the House

Choosing a Scent for Every Room in the House

We get asked fairly often which fragrance to pick, as if there's a single correct answer. There isn't — but there is usually a better fit for a particular room or mood, and it's worth choosing on purpose rather than by whatever's on the shelf.

Jasmine reads as soft and slightly sweet, and tends to suit bedrooms and living spaces well — anywhere you want a scent that lingers gently rather than announces itself the moment you walk in.

Lavender leans a touch more calming and less floral than Jasmine, which makes it a natural fit for bathrooms and anywhere you're winding down rather than starting the day.

Lemongrass is the brightest and zestiest of the three Floor Cleaner scents, and holds up best in kitchens and high-traffic hallways, where a sharper, more energising note cuts through cooking smells rather than getting lost under them.

Our Dishwash Gel's Lime sits in a category of its own — it's less about setting a mood in a room and more about that quick, clean snap of scent right at the sink, gone as soon as the dishes are done. All four clean exactly the same; this is entirely about what you want your home to smell like while they do.
